I mean this place is massive. I booked the standard room and it is far from the reception. More walks. They have a gigantic pool which is nice and space big space for events like weddings.
The Standard Room has 2 single beds, is air-conditioned, and has an okay bathroom with no hot water.
What to expect: serenity and nature.
We thought the room we reserve was within the hotel for its price. We discovered later on that it was a simple room, no TV, no hot shower, no intercom, and very far from the main lobby and resto. Dismayed, we call the front desk thru …
The hotel is hidden deep in a forested valley in Tanay. It has a great biking trail along heavily wooded areas. Its a great place if you want to commune with nature.
Great resort complex, with excellent swimming pools. Comfortable air-conditioned rooms, and efficient & friendly staff. The cuisine is okay.
The location of the resort is situated more than 4 kilometers from the main road, with a very bad access road for the first 2 kilometers.
No street lighting either . . .
Overall, our stay was pleasant since the quality of the hotel rooms are considerably okay – they are not only clean and spacious but also comfortable. Aside from the food, we especially relished in the tranquility the forest provided.
Service were great! Everyone was very pleasant.Food is ok,though a bit pricey. No free water bottle in our room.Wifi is only at the lobby and dining area. The pools ,esp the man made falls is quite awesome.Lots of trees around which I find very calming and tranquil.Despite that fact didnt have some mosquitoe bite. Our room is not senior friendly for you have to climb stairs so high, but for us is manageable and good exercise. We were sad that we were not able to try to bathala bike park and the mini zoo due to lack of time.Breakfast is free...taste good and the servings are just enough; not too much or too little. But the road going inside the resort is quite challenging for those bringing their own cars.I just love the atmosphere and their huge verandah.
The place is great for people who are tired of city life as signal for cellphones are not good. The ambiance is great for people who love nature because of countless trees and plants. The pool is huge and there's a falls with a lagoon to swim. There's also a covered court. The food are okay. Great for team building. I personally love the verandra in the secons floor.
I cant begin where to start, We had the worst experience in this resort. Enough to make me write a review
Rooms: 1/5 Run down facilities, no maintenance whatsoever, Lights and the toilet were broken. And the smell from the toilet was horrendous. Mind you we just checked in the room
Service: 2/5 In all fairness the staff were respectful and courteous, Our food was delayed one hour in 3 different instances. They were apologetic enough, But it goes to show how long this bad service has gone on
Food: 1/5 Ridiculously overpriced, Although serving size was generous (You should expect this for the price you're paying), But the taste is where my gripe is, I just had the spciest Chicken Curry i had ever tasted, I can tolerate spicy foods in fact i love them, But that dish was over the top spicy, I dont know if it as done on purpose or not, But it was not edible even for a spicy food lover like me, Also potatoes was hard and under cooked.
Location: 1/5 The resort / "hotel" is located deep in the forest of Tanay. In the event you still wish to go in this resort (Which i 100% DO NOT recommend) DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS / WAZE its much better to ask the locals once you reach Plaza Azea. If you do not wish to get lost
There's too many redflag in this resort such as them placing us WAAAAYYY Back on the resort as if hiding us from others guest, It was such bad experience that we didn't even bother to eat our free breakfast. We booted as early as we could. It was stressful , expensive and not worth you're time and money, You have been warned
